The Pool: Decorated

February 12, 2013

There's still a few tweaks to be made here and there, but for now it's done :)  I don't think this is perfect, but I'm happy with it and I'm sure I'll change things as we go along. There are a few more spray paint makeovers on the deck too, can you spot which ones they are?

I'm thinking about adding another piece of furniture in front of the fence (where the drinks tub is) as the deck chairs I put there initially just didn't look right. It would be nice to disguise the fencing a bit too.  We haven't done any landscaping around the exterior of the deck yet (it could use a bit of greenery on it too), but we'll have a rest for a bit before getting started on that ;)

  1. Wow, wow. wow!!! It looks spectacular. I love everything about it. The color on the deck and wall are perfect. Love that warmish gray. Love the punches of pink. They are yelling over to the frog, right? Love all your layers of pots, candles and omg elephants. The umbrella is fantastic. Love that you chose white. LOVE! Perfection!!! Pinned!

    1. Thanks so much, Katja! Yes, maybe the pink stripes are talking to the frog! The umbrella is MUCH bigger than the other one, but it does shade everything much better now.

  2. Natalie it looks great!...love the colour combo. the bigger umbrella makes a difference too. bench seating with storage is always handy around the pool, finding the ones that look good not easy though. well done on all your hard work!

    1. I wouldn't mind some bench seating as it would be good to store the cushions in there in the winter - just have to suggest that the other half maybe has a go at making them...Thanks, Allison :)
